The company SPP - distribúcia, a.s. is implementing a system of the supplier evaluation, a part of which is also the internal evaluation of suppliers in the process of their management according to predefined criteria. The requirements for implementation of supplier evaluation result from the need to apply methods and procedures of the quality management system, aimed at ensuring key requirements for improving the organisation environment and these may be ensured exclusively by taking a systematic approach, i.e. a complex of interrelated and measurable processes, the purpose of which is to achieve mutually beneficial co-operation and optimisation of relations with our suppliers.

The supplier evaluation system is fully in accordance with the requirements of the generic quality management standards STN EN ISO 9001 and STN EN ISO 9004. An organisation must evaluate and select suppliers on the basis of their ability to supply a product according to the organisation’s requirements. Criteria for selection, evaluation and re-evaluation must be defined. Records from the results of evaluations and any necessary activities brought about by the evaluation must be maintained.

The first pre-requisite for including a supplier in the evaluation system and its subsequent acquisition of qualified supplier status is the supplier's registration in our system and the supplier's acceptance of the supplier evaluation conditions. The company SPP - distribúcia, a.s. based on the registration and fulfilment of pre-defined basic evaluation criteria will include the supplier in an internal database. In accordance with the Public Procurement Act SPP - distribúcia, a.s. under concurrent compliance with other legal conditions regulating the creation and keeping of a qualification system may select suppliers from qualified entities. In other cases a selection shall take account of the qualitative abilities of a supplier and audit results for verifying compliance with declared rules and other data stated
